It comes with any Acer laptop preinstalled. It is basically a utility to access tuneup utilities and create backups. It could be useful for low level diagnostics. It can also be used to limit battery charge to 80%.

Apparently caused my cpu fan to ramp up to full speed and back down every few minutes. Disabled this program, and the problem went away.
