Seit Tagen habe ich gemerkt, dass meine CPU lahmt. Habe daher im Taskmanager bei "Prozesse" Auslastung CPU usw, nachgesehen und diesen Background Agent entdeckt. Habe ihn deinstalliert. CPU rennt wieder.

Comes built in with Acer computers, It's not essential since google drive already exists if you want to store your files in the cloud (as well and being more accessible). I believe it's been slowing down my laptop with all of it's processes so I have disabled it.

It's been slowing down my system, an Acer desktop running Win10. I only discovered it after noticing an icon labeled "BackUp Now" in my taskbar that appeared on its own with instructions to double click to launch which didn't work. Most taskbar items are initialized with a single right or left click, not a double click, so I looked at my running processes and saw Background Agent and uninstalled it. I don't store anything on the Acer cloud, so the utility is useless to me and whatever overhead it was using is too much.
