What is iTopVPN.exe?

iTopVPN.exe is an executable file associated with the software iTop VPN, developed by iTop. This software is typically installed in the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\iTop VPN.

iTop VPN is a Virtual Private Network (VPN) service that provides users with online privacy and anonymity by creating a private network from a public internet connection. VPNs mask your internet protocol (IP) address so your online actions are virtually untraceable. iTop VPN is particularly useful for:

  • Securing your internet connection on public Wi-Fi networks.
  • Accessing region-restricted websites.
  • Preventing websites and online services from tracking your online activities.

The iTopVPN.exe file is the main executable for the iTop VPN software. It is responsible for running the program and connecting to the VPN servers. Without this file, the iTop VPN software will not function.

While iTopVPN.exe is not inherently harmful, like any software, it can cause problems if it's corrupted or infected with malware. If you notice that iTopVPN.exe is causing your system to slow down, crash, or if it's consuming a lot of CPU resources, it might be a good idea to remove it. If you no longer use the iTop VPN service, or if you prefer to use a different VPN service, you may choose to remove iTopVPN.exe and the associated software.

Before removing any file, it's important to make sure that it's not a critical system file. Always double-check the file's location and the publisher to ensure that it's not a necessary part of your operating system.

The iTopVPN is a program that hides you'r real IP. But... when i get it and engine it strange things start to heppend. First Steam kicked me from my accaunt (But i still logged in) Then after like 20 minutes iTopVPN says somthink like: You'r viewed (that mean my ip is leaked) and after that i got messege from real security of microsoft. It says somthink like: Strange log in attemp detected. I think iTopVPN is a virus that say to me that my ip is leaked to be not in suspect list. I wont recomend this app to download. Be safe!
