This executable is part of the RealPlayer audio/video player. I've used it for years and have never had any major problems with it. It uses about 40MB of memory on my system and it uses about a dozen ports to send and receive information from a number of sites that includes data on songs that you download with it eg. artist, recording label, etc. It does auto updates on the app and probably a lot of other stuff. I've never had any problems with it and have been using it for 20 years. mitch (further information)
