This program was installed as part of a software program that uses a USB security 'hardware key' ie jumpdrive; it runs at a high priority even when its application is not running

It is a sentonal key USB dongle program, commonly used with Lenel security softwre

I dont know alot about it but I secureli delete it after it uses 13% of my core i7 its impossible for such a program i think, therefore we have an antivirus

I uninstalled the program from the Control Panel, but it didn't go away and stop slamming my processors until I disabled the "Sentinel Keys Server" (by SafeNet, Inc.) service from Computer Management

It's for a security hardware dongle for a high end professional CAD program I've purchased. Uses more resources than I'd like even when that proggy isn't running, but only briefly. Not dangerous although AVs and Firewalls hate it.GraphiCode uses it for their applications.

Installs with CitectSCADA for Sentinel Hardware Key (USB License Dongle for CitectSCADA runtime). It is not required if you are not using a hardware dongle--such as on a development PC running runtime only in demo mode. Expect it installs with any other software using Sentinel's hardware keys as well. It was running one core on a core i4 PC at 100% continuously causing fan to run at max on Windows 7 Dell (in past experience, it typically uses 0% CPU). Stopped service and set to manual start as I do not need it on this development PC. Problem solved.

Wird benötigt für USB-Dongel, z.B. Videoschnittsoftware "EDIUS 6.XX, VisTitle". Ist ohne USB-Dongel "stopped"
