The Intel PROSet Monitoring Service (iPROSetMonitor.exe) is the main executable process of Intel Network Connections, their Local Area Network (LAN) driver for Intel Desktop Boards (Ethernet adapters) that have the Intel PRO Network Connection. This program is therefore associated with hard-wired Ethernet LAN connections, not Bluetooth or WiFi. Rkill terminates it (without deleting the file) as a malicious process. I don't know if it is a false positive.

My motherboard has an Intel 1g ethernet port and a 2.5g Realtek ethernet port but i only use the Realtek one. So i don't actually need this process but it runs anyway and causes no issues as long as you have the genuine exe.
