harmless

Network host process from nvidia, started from service to support some gaming services. To disable it, just disable the Nvidia services

well, it seems in my case it has something to do with the update for the G-force experience. I kept seeing network traffic and after seeing this I opened it, it updated, problem solved. The only traffic I got now is from programs like steam and such. It does not seem to be a problem at all.

nvidia backdoor crap, they're making it harder to disable with recent updates

This is by far the process that sends & receives most data of all my (running) processes (excluding web-browsers), about every 10 seconds it sends & receives some kb of data, I don't like it. A comparison between my 2 top send & receiving files (at this moment): #1: NVIDIA Container: Send = 19.8 MB, Receive = 33.9 MB #2: svchost.exe: Send = 0.1951 MB, Receive = 1.4 MB (I converted #2-Send from KB to MB, for better readability, thus the strange precision format) If you use a network subscription with limited data, then I highly recommend that you try to FIRST ONLY disable the program from starting (use CCleaner or something) DO NOT DELETE the program (yet), then restart your computer & see if everything works fine, try starting some games & stuff, ONLY IF everything works fine THEN can you consider to permanently delete (or otherwise disable the file, eg: rename it, or move it to another folder, or delete it).

i noticed and saw it using too much bandwidth, then i tried to open a gameonline, then pressed alt + tab continuously and then surprisingly, the nvcontainer.exe's bandwidth usage increasing very quickly, im not sure if it's recording my keyboard movement like a trojan or so, after that i suspended it. (my nvcontainer.exe located in C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\NvContainer and it size 746kb)

Nvidia's Geforce Experiance... If u don't use shadowplay to record games u can uninstall the whole thing... otherwise go into it's options and remove paths to places where it will look for games... otherwise it will use obscene amounts of hard drive throughput and the most inconvenient times

it scans the whole hard drive, even non exe files

nvcontainer holds 4 graphics card atm, 690 GTX, 1070 GTX, quadro k2000, and Titan Volta. it can also hold the 4 graphics cards seperately inside your body. the nvcontainer shows up when a nvidia user wants to merge his pride, with his computer. there are 2 types of nvcontainer, 1 of them related to the "Blackpants" virus one is nvidia container (nvidia localsystem container, and the nvidia display container LS. when nvidia container is up, a zeponated system already exists, and we can start to save up money for the RTX card cc..

Seems like another thing that will collect data about me. I value my privacy and I don't want this sh*t in my computer. I don't trust Nvidia anymore!

Should you experience an actual problem, try to recall the last thing you did, or the last thing you installed before the problem appeared for the first time. Use the 6resmon command to identify the processes that are causing your problem. Even for serious problems, rather than reinstalling Windows, you are better off repairing of your installation or executing the 7DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth command. This allows you to repair the operating system without losing data.

To get your computer running as fast as it did on day one, you can 8reset your PC. Your personal files will remain intact, but any programs you installed will need to be reinstalled.
