Used as the auto-update service for easeUS programs (partition manager, backupper etc) https://www.easeus.com/

It was opening thousands connections to remote servers, depleting all available network buffer space in Windows, rendering the PC unable to access the Internet

ensserver.exe is part of EaseUS Todo Backup software.

It's innocent and indeed part of EaseUS. It was very resource heavy today but I found out it was installing an update on the background without notifying the user. I did have it enabled, so after the update I disabled auto-update. However, if the process is annoying and it is not at your scheduled time for backups, you could just disable it. Have done so without problems.

I have had no problems with this program. I use easeUS programs.

Not a lot but it is absolutely definitely not part of Windows.

Keine Probleme verursacht, obwohl ich stelle nachträglich fest das öfter abgestürzt war.

I denied EaseUS permission to run at startup as much as I could, yet ensserver.exe kept persisting. I noticed 20-35% of my Ryzen 5900X's output was going to this process for about 90 seconds at startup. Why? I don't know. Either way, I've uninstalled the offending EaseUS product and won't be using it again.
